Custom Work - What should I know?

Looking to get a custom cut mid-block cocker made and anno’d. This is all new to me, so what should I know or be aware of before I start down this road?

Planning a custom cut mid-block cocker with a milled logo, and feedneck mod. Intend on a custom anno, something like dust black/gloss yellow.

    Any advice is appreciated.

It's fun, I've done a few - get it cut by someone who knows how to do it right. I like to make mini back blocks for a cleaner look.

Working on a trilogy dual rod pump that will get a cafe racer ano, and a prostock that will get a nebula ano

    you will need
half block hammer - which is a normal hammer with a slot milled on the top side.
    halfblock/midblock pump arm
halfblock bolt & pin to cock the hammer.
    sled or back block

I do like the mini back blocks, they look good! Probably use an Inception mod-block kit.

Sounds cool! I had JCurt way back half block a PB Superbolt for me. Never really got it going before I parted it all out. He was a one stop shop at the time, before it all went south with him.

You are mid blocking though right? So just a sled and bolt if so. And I don't think we need to ask...but...just say this isn't your Karni!

Are you looking at an MCB smith for the work?

No, not the Karni. Looking at getting a new body. Mozak’s stuff looks pretty good so I am leaning towards him.

Make sure you test fit everything before ano. So many times i see guys assemble post ano and something doesnt fit or feel right. they wish they cut something else a bit longer or differently.
