Has anyone successfully put a detent on or in a SL 68-II ?

Was curious if anyone has come up with a detent for the SL68-II ?, I've attempted a variant of a Palmers' detent through the clean out port, kinda works but balancing the wire pressure is very fussy and there's not a lot of room to add a through breech style detent. Open to ideas.

To keep the ball from rolling out or double feeding?

I've always did strategic rubber band or hair band placement over the squeegee port

I always thought that port was a sort of detent...

Like the ball would seat into it a little which would prevent a double feed

You could play around with opening it up a little too do just that

A thick rubber band like what they use on asparagus stocks works.

But as paint gets smaller it may not. Someone could always 3d print a little detent that has 2x " belt loops" in it so it can clip onto a rubber band to sit further in the breach.

I qlso thought someone tapped the body and made an eye cover like thing that housed a detent once. I hate how paintball knowledge it so lost.

They are not sold as paintball markers/guns. They are marketed and sold as "non-lethal self-defense weapons".

Now, can you tell me "are you a bot or not?"

I never have doubling issues. The design of the breach makes the ball stay put until chambered. I wonder if trying to put things in the window is actuality causing doubles. I have made a barrel adapter with a sized insert to stop rollouts.

If you have double feeding going on with almost any pump the issue is the user pumping too slow.

Unless the gun’s design is so bad it prevents speedy pump strokes then I wouldn’t waste a dime/second trying to fix it. You can’t fix user issues with parts.
