Angel IR3 eyes question

Just picked this up and my question is…Is it worth having the holes welded up and smoothed out or should I just send it to ano as-is?? I don’t plan on ever using eyes as I’ll probably be putting a single trigger frame on it.

personally i would install the eyes and use an aftermarket board. way easier to change settings, way easier to change batteries etc.
