    Dead Invert Mini Board

Trying to fix an Invert Mini but the board appears to be stone dead. Board itself looks okay, no obvious issues and I replaced the battery connector. Do these just die or is there a common issue?

The most common electrical component to fail is the capacitor. But it could be many things. I just fixed one that had a bad solder joint on the s2 switch.

Capacitor looks okay. Checked that first.

Noids go out in mini more than I would think is normal for the rest of the sport. But those don't present as a bad board

Now that I'm thinking about it though, I have seen a chunk of bad boards through the mini/axe platform. Maybe it is a more common thing

Fairly common problem. It wasn't a big deal when Empire had their warranty in place and would swap them out for free, but I'm certainly tired of replacing boards and noids now. The Vanquish also eats boards, especially if you get it wet.

Did you check the power button for continuity? You can jumper across the power button terminals to turn the board on for testing. Just be careful not to touch anything else on the board.
        I can haz feedback?
If I owe you feedback, just remind me, as I sometimes forget.
