    Is this normal?

Just got my new resurrection ram from action village's ebay but when it's fully screwed together the ports aren't even close to parallel. Is that normal?

Yes, It has to do with the differences in ano thickness.

I don't think the Ano is to blame. Ano layers are ~0.0007-0.0015" for type 2 Ano which I believe this is. Let's give it +-0.003" for difference in material removed during etching. So adding up those up (assuming my understanding of tolerance stacking is correct) the Ano should at most be responsible for ~0.0067" out from where the parts were before Ano. I don't think that is enough to accommodate the barbs being 1/8th of a turn from each other.

So take off the body and sand down the end of it a little until it is on all the way
