    Spyders in Hard Cases?

Ok, so recently I've noticed this trend in my local classifieds, where when an old Spyder (powerfeed era) is listed, it will oftentimes come in a nice hard case with the foam cutout for the gun, barrel, hopper and tank(s).

Is there something behind this phenomenon? It's specifically with Spyders that I see this happen, and very rarely that I see other guns of a similar vintage come in these.

Those black cases with the mold of an eagle flying on the front? Were sold at Wal-Mart, I believe.

My Flash came in a hard case. Green plastic, clear front, molded styrofoam inside.
If you need to talk, I will listen. Leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I get it.

Neither of those sound like what I'm talking about. They do sound similar.

I'm talking about the silver metal cases, often with reenforced corners, and either high density, or foam cut to contour of the items, or pistol case style. That style anyways.

Spyders weren't really seen in the same light back then as we do now. I kept mine in a case just to take care of what I had. I still do, actually.
