    Budget 12gram changer

So I love the cci bucket changer but $60 is a bit pricey to throw on a crap gun. I've tried an $18 amazon one that was complete trash. Is there any decent 12g changers available for a price somewhere in between? Say $40?

Unless there's a better version I'm not familiar with, those are basically the same as the Amazon models.

Masterconi sells one. Is is not as nice as CCI, but way better than the cheap ebay ones I have had in the past.

Don't you have issues with the tank thread part breaking free rather than the bucket?

The old universal dropout changers are good. I think they were marketed under a few different brands including Brass Eagle and ACI.

BrickHaus No the opposite happens. Since the bucket isn't reverse threaded, the top piece gets stuck on tight and you gotta get a wrench to get it out of the asa. The bucket part always come off easy. They pierce the cart and seal without coming close to reaching the end of the threads. In my experience they just work. .

I don't think the BE one I have is reverse threaded.

If i had any idea CCI changers were that expensive nowadays I would have sold my used one for a bit more. Anyways, I’ve got 1 dropout bucket changer left for sale here.

To the best of my knowledge all of these are mostly likely former rentals from Splat Zone Survival in Minnesota during the 90s. Bought this in a CL lot from the former owner who is moving back to Minnesota from CO. There is much more stuff in the pipeline as I work through it all. I have broken these guns down and given them a

Im definitely gonna try one of these, at first glance it looked just like the cheap one I bought but it says it has a multi start thread and looks like it has a real seal instead of just a o ring that pops out every time you discharge.

They are decent especially for the money. It looks like the Crap4 one (my biggest gripe) but it’s built better and cheaper.

I haven't used a sconi bucket, but his other products I've used are all quality.

brass eagles aren't that bad. Just put a couple of pennies in the bottom with some tape to keep them in place and that will reduce the amount of turns when changing 12 grams. Replace the pennies every 15 or so outings as they will bend.

I also acquired a couple of drop out changers a few years ago that aren't bad. I ended up making some mods with a lathe to reduce the size a bit.
