    Larger tank gauges?

Does anyone still make the 1.5 inch gauges that used to be common in the 2000s? These little micro gauges are absolutely stupid and I’m still even a ways off from my eyesight going bad lol.

or do I just need to scavenge them from old tanks and regs? I tried looking through som industrial supply and couldn’t find any that were that size, pressure rating, and low profile all together.

Yeah should be 1/8 npt, 1.5 inch dial, 5k range, rear threading.

granted McMaster and places like that are not the easiest to look through on a phone so maybe I missed something but I was sure coming up dry.

I have checked on Ashcroft and when I sorted they didn’t have the right configuration. I may have missed it though. I will check wika

Yeah I was finding those but that’s pretty thick. The old crossfire ones im thinking of had a slightly raised glass but the back was rather flat.

Are these the kind you are looking for? I think they do both 1” and 1.5” gauges but not all are in stock.

That looks like the type but they look like they only go to 3k. The tanks I have are 4500

All the pictures are of the same 3k gauge, but if you read the descriptions they make them in a bunch of different pressures.

I see they are in the 1 inch but not 1.5. I need to check if the one I liked was 1 or 1.5 but I am out of town so will need to check when I get back. That may work though. Even the 1 inch does look easier to read than these stupid micro gauges.

Ashcroft seemed to make most of them, and it appears they still do https://www.ashcroft.com/products/pr...t-drive-gauge/
so, you can probably buy them from their distributors.

Their spec sheet only shows up to a 4k range so they may be special order.
