Phantom internals in Nelspot 007

Picked up my first 007 on a Blk. Friday sale from Ecapnation (Thanks). Would like to know benefit of installing Phantom internals in Nelspot?

The benefit?

Much nicer pump stroke from the Phantom's anti-kink internals, plus aftermarket support in terms of easily sourced and purchased replacement parts.

I have two Nelspots, one with Phantom internals and one without... I only use the Phantom'd 007.

If you go down that road, I'm your guy for a replacement sear (link in sig). Everything else you can buy straight from CCI/EV.

My 007 with Phantom internals is a tack driver. It’s a great upgrade and Nate’s Sears make it drop in.

Doc modified an old rental for me. But Nate’s sears are the way to go he makes some nice fancy triggers to.

Also... EV's version of the bolt doesn't seem to have a 10-32 threaded hole in it anymore (I think they took out the spot for the nylock setscrew) so you might need to source a CCI-era bolt instead, or drill/tap the EV bolt.

That's an important distinction there. I'm guessing they figured it wasn't required anymore once the TPCs with o-rings became the norm.

If the EV bolt would need drilled & tapped, I'm wondering if they're using hardened stainless or not. If so, that could be fun.

Post up what you build when you get it all together, I snagged a wire stock for mine about a month ago. Still need to mount it up.
