Rebuild tank reg for 4.5k instead of 3k?

I've got a ninja reg that's rated for 3k. With all the rebuild kits out there can it be converted to 4.5k? If so, what part or parts do I need? Thanks!

don't take my word as law, but iirc the only difference is the burst discs

Yeah that's what Ninja techs told me. The burst disc and the laser engraving saying it's a 3k reg are the only differences. Just swap the burst disc and you're good to go.

Well that's cool to know, I'm not sure I would apply this to every brand based on what ninja says about their regs but it's cool to know you can convert a ninja reg

ive done this but its hit or miss at some fields. If the reg says 3k, they will only fill it to 3k. Other fields will gladly fill it to 4.5k.
Ive also seen some techs so high, they would just fill some tanks to 4.5k and some to 3k arbitrarily

Regs are so cheap why do this and make life for you and the fields hard?

The fields I play at are self fill so I'm really only inconveniencing myself. I already have the reg and I was familiar with Ninja's flexibility, so that's why I was curious.
I'll get a reg if this won't work though.
