Solenoid O-Ring Sizes and Grease

Trying to resurrect an old MacDev and the solenoid leaks. Took it apart and light greased it, but still leaks. Anyone know the size of the o-rings on the shaft?

The solenoid is an SMC SYJ3123-SLOU-M3-Q

Also, how much do you grease the shaft?

I think those orings may be a proprietary size and difficult/impossible to source.

As far as how much grease to use, for solenoid spools, I just goop it on and blast the excess out through the gun.

Looks similar to the seals dye uses, dye uses smc noids on most (all?) of their markers so maybe these will work

These are more like discs. They are thick and flat with rounded edges.

Greased it up pretty good, but when air it up the solenoid is still venting. Anyone have any ideas?

Im my experience, Humphrey solenoids (which may be similar in design to this one) don't tend to fail at the spool orings, but instead leak at the pilot, which is a soft rubber face seal. How does yours look? If it's deeply indented or damaged, it could be the culprit.

Also, it may be difficult to track down, but finding the exact location of the leak may help too.

Thanks. It leaks from one of the outlet wholes are the rear bottom of the solenoid. I’ll double check when I get a chance.

That little orange button on the noid housing is a manual activation button... if you push it down it moves the spool. Try pushing it down to see if the leak goes away or changes, might tell if you it's a spool oring or something else. (Kinda like a Cocker 3way.)

Got some and some time and took another crack at the solenoid. It leaks from both holes of either side of the air line. Tried to press the buttons but no luck.
