Westpoint army classic big game

I haven’t been to the westpoint army classic paintball big game, in at least 10 years. Is this still an event? Anyone know?

I’m not sure honestly. But I was watching some old footage on YouTube from back in the day on SPBTV.

Lake Fredrick’s back in the day was poppin! I still remember the military smoke grenades and the epic big push while Kenny Loggins Top Gun Theme song echoing across the lake. The camp sight and bad ass fire pit the 518th Brigade had at the base of the hill. The late nights laughing so hard you sides felt like they were gunna split. That for me was the pinnacle of scenario Paintball at the time.

I don’t even think they have it anymore. Last time I went it was a pretty big disappointment. They moved it a few times and the place they moved it to was a bad spot. It fell off after that and was eventually moved back but by then it fell apart.

Nope, ended in 2018 or 2019... They tried to move to a tournament format. Nobody showed and the school cut funding for the group.

To be honest it wasn't ran well at all the last years. Cadets running it had no idea how to. I was a vendor one year and we were told to call when on sight and our POC would bring us up to the vendor area...... He never picked up so we set up on the parking lot.
