    2k2 Intimidator Issues

I have a 2k2 Intimidator with a WAS board that only fires when it airs up and not when the trigger is pulled. If I turn it on without air the solenoid clicks. I have tried a couple of brand new Duracell batteries and replacing the board screw o-ring as well as completely removing the screw altogether with no success. The LED light in the back doesn't turn on at all but the LCD screen does although it only displays black squares across the top row, I am assuming because the previous owner put a grip screw through the ribbon. My understanding is that I only need to get one of these working to program the gun.

I also have a leak from the asa. The manual says there are 2 o-rings there but I can't seem to figure out how to get to them.

    The vertical asa is leaking?

Also was boards eye logic is weird the eyes only turn off when blocked and fired a few times.

It's likely your eyes aren't working

The leak is coming from the screw on the left of where the tank screws in.

When you say blocked do you mean when there is a ball in the breech? I haven't tried putting any paint through it yet.

It sounds like something is wrong with the board or microswitch, like it things the switch is always on.

You could try cleaning the contacts on the ribbon and try to reseat it into the board. In order to program the board you also need the membrane pad working. If it doesn't work you can also short the pins on the connector with an allen wrench to navigate through settings.

When you refer to the ASA do you mean the front block? That is just held in by a single screw on the underside of the body.

I agree that it seems like the switch is stuck on. If that is the case besides cleaning it I assume all I can do is replace it.

The ribbon has a hole through it so I'll try but I doubt that it is salvageable. Can the board be programmed with just the trigger and a working LED if I can get one?

The leak comes from the screw just left of where the tank screws in.

The black squares is probably just from the WAS board being updated to 2.9, on that version of the software the LCD no longer works but allows for ramping. If you want to program the board I would focus on getting the LED to work.

I'm having similar problems with a WAS board. Powering up with the LCD screen results in a row of black triangles. LED doesn't light up. After about 5 seconds, the solenoid clicks once. Neither the trigger nor the membrane buttons do anything.

Powering up without the LCD screen connected results in nothing. No LED, no 5-second solenoid click, nothing.
