    2k spec autococker conversion

So I’m thinking of drilling out a pre 2k body and converting it to fit the larger banjo bolt (2k spec). From a little research I’ve learned that a 33/64 drill bit and and a 9/16-24 tap should do the trick. I’m gonna put it in the press and measure the depth and get her center. The only thing that I’ve noticed is that on my one of my 2k spec bodies is that it is recessed for the o-ring on the body side. Is this necessary, or with a different o-ring will it seal up? I don’t have a lathe to make a recess. Thanks for the input.

most front blocks have the recess so one is not needed on the body.

I think there is an adaptor that allows 2k front blocks on pre-2k bodies if you don’t want drill.

You aren't going to gain much other than ability to use more parts.
