    Mechanical dm/pm

    So I had a random idea today while I was driving around, curious if it's been done.

    Mechanical matrix, I'm thinking somewhere around 06-08

    Here's what I'm thinking, strip out all the electronics, thread the body where the noid ports are for cocker barbs and figure out how to mount a 3 way to the trigger. There's already a LPR on board, this would then be a mechanical balanced spool.

    Which sounds really fun

    Been done, yes.

    Usually with a manifold, but otherwise as you described.

      Can anyone provide more info?
      Seems like a fun winter project
      mid like to know why not add mechanical linkage to solenoid instead of new manifold?

        Hmmmm, it would be really tight. Remove the electronics package from the noid and leave the manifold. Jb weld some kind of linkage onto the noid spool.

        Possible but really really tight spacing

          I did some investigating, there is plenty of clearance.
          the shuttle needs to be restrained from ejecting, and some sort of lever actuation mechanism to trigger it.

              Based on reviewing zspb diagrams,
              I think the shuttle needs to move back when the trigger goes back.
              I could have misunderstood, so if anyone else is educated and could share, please do.

                I'm not sure I would base a build off of a ZDS animation though. They are built to give you a clear idea of what's going on not necessarily be 100% accurate
