Ranger pump Oring size

I was toying with my Ranger pump today and had a chance to take a couple dry fire shots. I excepted it to leak because it sat for many years and it did. Leaked down the power tube and slowly from the O ring that’s on the valve retaining screw. I’m aware of replacing the cup/seal by using a Phantom cup/seal (drill and tap) but what size O ring replaces the one on the retaining screw?

Rangers don't use your typical nelson cup seals fyi...

Info is what I’m looking for and I appreciate it. What cup seals do Rangers use?

Rangers have a unique to themselves power tube and cup seal... Iirc 10-32 thread and the valve body has a teflon washer like on 2k2 Timmys... The cup seal itself is just a metal top hat with a ridge.

That being said early rangers could have standard nelson parts as bleed over from the commandos

Yes It’s a 10-32. I used a threaded bolt to confirm the size after doing a little reading here and there. The cup seal is a brass top hat with the ridge and the seal just sits in there. I’m at work so I can’t take any pics but I will when I get home.

Post edit: After double checking and checking again my power tube is 8-32 not 10-32. Ran a tap in the cup and it’s 8-32.

This is the norm for most of mine, though one has a stainless valve body.... And another has a full lapco internal set

Yeah mines is different. It’s a brass hex head with the seal imbedded in the cup itself. I did pick at it with my fingers and chipped a little.

Indeed. I’ll dig out the old seal and see if there are any replacements if not then I’ll just do the Bacci Mod and use a phantom cup seal. Leaning more towards just replacing the seal.
