Tank output pressure for LP cockers

To preface I know the whole “shooting lower into the tank” isn’t really something in the real world as your HPR does its job (for the most part) either way.

But wanted to get some thoughts if there is any negative to using LP on a cocker.

The specific build in question will be running an AKA sidewinder (likely with the medium length top), full size cocker body, volumizer in the pneus, drilled ASA screw, laz valve, Jenny Kraig hammer, and Trident bolt.

The main reasons I was leaning to wanting to run LP are: possibility of adding a space gun to my collection that needs <500 input, reducing stress on the macro lines, and reducing stress on the HPR as well as helping to maintain consistent HPR output pressure during the last little bit of the tank.

Any real issues with running the LP in this scenario? I assume the marker will be running 180psi give or take and it’s going to be mech (be it with a gunfighter frame and one of the new Attkx triggers, but still not going to be RT mag or even space gun fast).

Typically at the minimum you want to be 100psi or more above the operating pressure your marker is shooting at.

That makes sense. I’ve heard anywhere form 100-300 but I guess as long as your tank is high enough flow it really doesn’t matter as long as you can maintain the higher pressure upstream.

Attkx is offering them for both WGP and meteor threads. But I have seen some DIY it… but you better have a good press, vice, and drill bits to pull it off.
