    Hail Hydra! Bolts?

Never hear of these until I saw this one.

What can the hive mind say about them.. other than this one has seen its fair share of use.

Actually made and marketed by Bob long very early on into the cocker craze.

They were neat but they tended to wiggle around too much and create some breach wear issues and were ultimately retired very quickly from there product line. The idea was open face, Venturi, and ironically something that hadn't caught on until the modern era of guns aside from automatics a soft faced bolt

That tracks with the condition and where I got it.

The one I have has far more wear. Only on one ofnthe tips.

Pretty much what ecap said is what I was told.

I wonder if settling on the breech face you like best, get some red loctite and crazy glue in there and call the bolt complete. Yes, I get this defeats the point of the interchangeability !!

Not worth the effort. At best it was a mediocre bolt
