    Removing sto bolt pin plunger

Ordered one of those fancy bolt pin plungers from ACP for a factory STO bolt(I believe that's what it is) and went to install it and noticed the STO plunger looks like it's pressed in, so are these pressed in or is screwed in and it just takes an act if surgery to get it out

Below is the bolt i am trying to install the fancy ACP plunger into

I'm not sure how an STO bolt is different, so this may or may not apply, but I just went through this with my bolt. The stock pin retainer was a sleeve with a plug that held in the spring and ball bearing. Removing the plug was easy. I tried everything, but the only way I could remove the sleeve was an extractor, heat gun, and more torque than I though it should take. I replaced it with an ACP retainer and it fits just like the factory version.

Oh boy what fun, I might give it a try I might not, I don't have a heat gun and I don't want to discolor the bolt by using a torch
