I love the enthusiasm to try and get the "best"/"correct" answer but keep in mind the use case. We are not building a bicycle frame or assembling safety devices...etc. This is for a paintball marker barrel that really does not see a lot of high stress. Essentially any of the 2 part epoxies that can be used on multiple substrates will do a sufficient job. My preference for PC-7 is not because it is superior than anything else it is just a product that I always have on hand, will work significantly well enough and it has some thickness that I can control to help will gaps. If I kept some other brand of epoxy on hand I likely would use that. I would not use PC-7 on my old school Smart Part barrels because the fit is much tighter I would use Loctite 609. Lets not over think this.

this is pretty much me at all (or most) times.
if "B" is better than "A", what are the things that make "B" better?
ok, is there a "C" that has even more of the things that make "B" better than "A"?
oh wow, it goes all the way to "F"...
where does the diminishing return start? where is the plateau?
"E" and "F" are on the fringe.
ok, looks like im looking at "C" and "D".
its with everything too. my wife will tell me "here is the budget, just let me know what to get by the end of the week".
shes usually happy with the final product. two of them that come to mind are the chef knives and stick vac.
i also fully believe that a product made to do one thing will do it better than a product that's designed to do everything including that one thing.
