    Loader/hopper weight

Just curious as to what your opinion is on what electronic hopper you find to be the lightest weight. I have always used old school Revy’s and have a couple Dye rotors. Are there ones that are more lightweight? I assume the Revy being the lightest

Pretty much everything is lighter than a rotor.

Most people like the spires , myself included. Depends on what you are looking to do though, the spire can't keep us with an automag RT for instance which is one of the reasons I keep my rotor around

I'll have to compare, spire might be lighter than revy now.

I only shoot an Autococker if I am not using a pump and was finding my trusty ole Rev to be slowing down a hair and then thought maybe an update could happen.

Spires feel pretty light and have worked well for me.

Well that about sums it up right there. Thank you and it would seem my single 9V view loader is the lightest thing out out there.

Do you even lift Bro Rotor or Bust! Worked for me the past 1.5 Centurie. .exalt speed feed lithium ion batteries change them yearly.

Lift ? Ha nope. I actually have an advanced state of arthritis in the joints of my thumb and hand so holding the Cocker all day at ION with a full hopper and tank was a little difficult so any advantage I can get to lessen the load will help.

Tape a AAA to the top of a stick feed and call it a day!

Anecdotal, but the Revy has always felt lighter than anything else. I've never weighed and compared though.

Energizer lithiums both run longer, and weigh drastically less than you might expect

it's a super easy way to shave a few ounces off any hopper that uses AA's

                  #12
I just compared my spire IR2 and a revy with alkaline batteries installed.
Spire IR2 has the little tilt tray thing in it adding a tiny bit of weight.

Spire IR2 weighed .5oz more than the revy.

Buuuut. There are a lot of variations within what a "Revy" is. Different materials, different boards, different paddles. Effectively the IR and Revy weigh the same. Balance is different on the Spire and it sits closer to the marker.

Swapping to lithiums brings. you even closer. The weight savings on three AA is greater than on two 9V.
