Has anyone tried to tie dye a white jersey. My wife has gotten into the sport and wants something different. None of my JT jerseys say what type of material it is so I'm not sure if they will take dye. If assume synthetic dye would work, just curious if anyone has tried or knows if it's doable. Was possibly thinking to try the pictured jersey.

I remember people using Rit dye on bandannas and white soft plastics on mask like grillz. Iād buy some rags or a cheap t shirt made of the same material and do some trials.Comment

I ran up to the windy city nxl today to talk to gi sports/ pbretro about this. They both said the jerseys probably wouldn't take dye well. Pbretro really liked the idea and would be interested in making some. I dunno, i didn't want to go custom but might have to. I'll keep everyone updated.Comment

Alot of the jerseys and pants are made of synthetic materials that will not absorb dye well.
it looks good immediately after but it almost completely rinses out.
Rit dye and even synthetic specific dyes will have trouble with most paintball clothing.
Ive had mixed results with "Jacquard" brand basic (as in ph) powdered dye but it is very expensiveComment
