Hello MCB, I have a Palmers Quicksilver that was purchased individually separate from a complete marker.

What is involved in installing the Quicksilver into a K-series Sheridan rifle? Thank you in advance.

That one doesn't seem to have a threaded collar so might be a j slot version

I have seen the video on Bacci’s YouTube. The same functionality is what I intend to achieve. However, he did not do an in depth review showing closeups and modifications.

Sure thing as soon as I am able to get another one.

It definitely looks like the first model, where you cut a J-hook where the threaded collar sits. It is a permanent modification.

I bet it could be modified to function like version 2, with the dropout cut into the lower tube.

The length of this Quicksilver is shorter than a standard K-series 12g changer. Is it still possible to install it? Or is this Quicksilver adjustable for length?

You might need a longer threaded rod. I dont know the spec off hand, but I'll check mine later.

Has anyone made a different version or tried to manufacture a clone?

Not exactly a clone, but Doc made some quick changers that will work you can just swap over your existing rod to his quick changers and its not lever fast but it’s way less rotations and it has a nicer grip on the handle. I just put one on my Lever.

        How do these work exactly?
It converts the lower tube to a lever changer?
It must need a drop out slot then right.
Or the entire mech pulls out the front?
