    Brown/Tan Soft Goods

    As my play style has shifted from tournament/airball to woods/recball and all my old stuff is getting pretty near end of life I would like to replace it with some stuff that blends a little better without going full milsim. In other words, basically looking for brown/tan jerseys and pants that aren't super camo or tactical style. Unfortunately it seems like the few that I find are limited in sizes, etc. I am a usually a medium to large depending (5'8", 170). For reference, I really like these but can only find them in small

    For tops I would just say to get a sports material shirt off of amazon that is the color scheme you want. So much cheaper and you can find a lot more options. On pants i've had decent luck with eBay getting used but serviceable ones in the colors I wanted. I think I got two shirts for less than 30 bucks total.

    Granted my team and I never wore camo really but always played scenario, black usually is fine in the woods and concept fields as it just doesnt pop really... then again we also ran bright colored markers and had red Santa hats along with a lot of red in our masks and it didnt seem to give anyone a notable advantage of seeing us.

      Good idea, thanks. Yeah, I was mostly looking for paintball specific stuff but honestly, there isn't any real reason

    I'd encourage exploring options outside of paintball-specific gear. Work pants may be built better and often come in khacki. I bought a pair of "FXD workwear" pants after seeing an HVAC installation crew wearing the brand - found they were also pretty great for paintball.

    Also, if you ask me, BDU-style clothing is kinda milsim/tactical regardless of if it is camo or not. You might as well just save some money and buy generic or military surplus BDUs. The generic ones often come in non-camo colors too. Most hunting/sporting/milsurp shops sell them very cheap.

      Take a look at Undr. I finally bit the bullet and ordered a pair after reading about them here. great pants -tons of options, lots of non Mil-sim but still woodball options. Also a small business, paintball specific, and not joggers!

        May not be what you're looking for, but Social Paintball's Grit V3 pants are the best paintball pants I've ever owned. It's so hard to find paintball pants that have a rear (zippered!) hip pocket for my wallet. I don't think they come in solid tan or brown right now but they do have a multicam-look-a-like and a "sand" camo.

          I'll check em out, thanks! Yeah, I may just have to go camo on some of it. I just want to avoid the airsoft/milsim look to a reasonable degree. I don't want people sending me off solo to crawl through the mud 😂

          Well if it matters, there's a neon pink "SOCIAL" logo right on the butt. I've owned some UNDR pants as well, and these Social pants are a little more durable and a lot more comfortable, especially around the reinforced waist.

            Not much help here... I'm still wearing out my initial MCB issued, CC Jersey and military surplus tiger stripe.

            If you're into joggers, I wear Dyzana V2s in brown, which are now under the Core series:

            The only caveat for me has been the squeegee pocket, and maybe the V3s and 4s have addressed this, but I lose my squeegee constantly with these joggers. I've opted to carry it elsewhere.

            Tops, I can't help you. I have a couple T-shirts from Walmart that I wear over a UV shirt when I'm not wearing my CC Jersey.

              Much appreciated. I actually found a pair of those exalt pants I was looking for, new condition, on Facebook but finding a brown/tan (non tactical) jersey has been harder. I mean, I know there are basic, non paintball solutions I just kind of had a thing in mind that was kind of a speedball/woodsball crossover but has been harder to execute than expected. Def first world problems 😂

            I’ve got a pair of the hoplite joggers from under. They are essentially a normal pair of pants, with nylon on the knees and mesh in the crotch and behind the knees. Not really a true jogger, almost like a chino. They come in black green and tan. I got a jersey in tigerstripe from ginger dynamics, they have a few different tan options. The color is too light. Some of the older valken vtac jerseys are nice aswell. Currently I have the hunter jersey from wepnz on order, we’ll see how well it works.

              Yeah, I was not familiar with this company but dig a number of their things. I was actually going to buy a different jersey but then I realized the lead time is pretty long, which isn't normally a problem but in this case I want it NOW 😂

                Oh yeah, those are pretty much perfect for what I was thinking. I found a pair of the exalt ones on Facebook but I will bookmark those for when I destroy the current ones, thanks!

              I’ve been wearing the same pair of under armour pants for ten years now. Tan being my fav. These pants last and are super comfortable.
