Is this pneumatic schedule correct?

Hello im currently working on creating my own paintball marker for a degree project to complete my studies in swedish school, The guys behind Regency the creators of the Crome has offerd to help me with some parts in the process. My question is if this pneumatic diagram/schedule is correct or somewhat correct?

You seem to have a 2-way (normally closed) valve shown. Those only switch the air flow off and on, don't redirect it, and don't back vent to atmosphere.

How your spool valve works will determine what kind of valve you need.

What you've drawn appears to be a simple pneumatic ram (as used on an Angel, Viking, Intimidator, Ego, B2K, etc.), so not what we'd call a spool valve, in which case you'll need a 4-way valve to switch the pressurized output.




Add a spring to the ram to push it back when not pressurized and you'd have the start of a FASOR, or Forward Air, Spring On Return, it which case you'll need a 3-way (normally closed) valve.

On a proper spool valve (shocker SFT, ion, Matrix, etc) the exact type will determine if you need a 4-way valve or 3-way valve, and if a 3-way whether normally open or normally closed.

On something like a "pressure release poppet" design like a variation of the Emek you might be able to use a simple 2-way since you're just venting the air behind the poppet.
