I’ve picked up a Karni SM1.

Undrilled is neat.

anyone know how i can service the detent?
what kind of detent does it take?

Any other quirks i should know of?

Many were made with no detent. Are you sure it has one?

You can order them without detents that’s likely what you have.

I emailed Mozak to see if he could machine in one of his hidden detents into one, but never heard anything back from him. Maybe try emailing him or social media if you use it. I would love to get one without the external detent then have that hidden single detent at the bottom of the breach he dose on his body’s. That would be so clean!

I really like that they reproduced the old style VSA that sits back like the old CCM kits pump kits. I would build one if I could get it the way I want it. Seems like those back blocks are taking forever. I definitely don’t want a half block one.

This one does look to have a detent, looks like a small ball in the breach. Will take a photo when I can.
