Glasses vs Contacts?

I've had glasses since I was eight, so.... thirty two years? Geez.

Anyways.... I've pretty much always worn glasses when playing. I've tried thermal lenses, antifog spray, fans, combinations of all three, and nothing worked 100% to stop fogging until I got contacts a couple of years ago.

I've got pretty bad astigmatism so I need Io use toric lenses - but I don't have any of the issues other people in this thread seem to have. Maybe I'm lucky.

I only run it if needed, but it seems to be a lot of the time. This lets you turn it on and off with a flick of the switch

I'm near sighted and have absolutely horrible vision. Contact lenses all the way for me. Even if I can get the glasses to not fog, I have "tunnel vision" so badly when wearing them that I might as well not have any peripheral vision at all, everything on the sides is too blurry to bother looking at.

I've worn glasses all my life pretty much. I get them impact resistant and now transition lenses. It covers eye protection on many levels, which is great for me.

I've worn contact lenses daily since I was 14, about a year after I started playing paintball.
Never had a problem with them when playing, and after seeing a number of other people struggle with eyeglass fitment/fogging issues I'm grateful I don't have to bother with glasses while playing.
