    Tippmann model 98 trigger.

So been looking to put a guard back on this 98 that I was given and can’t seem to figure out a replacement or what was done here. It doesn’t seem to have been cut and the guards I see don’t go into that grove. Is there a simple thing I’m missing or is there a simple replacement adapter for this ?

im 99.9% sure that guard was cut.
The old guiled body had the guard cast in the shells. I can take picture of my chameleon's guard if you want to see

Model 98's guards had to be cut off to install a double trigger..... The customs did away with that and made it a plastic replacement piece.

Lapco did make some rather neat guards for regular 98's that bolted on. So did JMJ but those are rare

Just noticed yours is notched to seat the janky pysho ballistics one.

It was a black annoed aluminum bar bent up to.bolt on the where the asa is and look like a bash guard on a vm

Here's what you're looking for. FYI that trigger makes the pull so much worse than the stock 98 trigger (which is actually pretty good). There are double trigger shoes for the stock trigger if you want a double trigger.

Looks super easy to make and run under the grips. Stay tuned.

Here's photos of my Kameleon that shows the stock trigger:

Just received a Model 98 Kameleon that spent a few days under water. As you can see, it’s a little muddy, but othwise pretty good condition. As a typical Tippmann I could probably put a few drops of oil in it and air it up without a problem, but I’m going to do a thorough breakdown first. 2E7A4FB6-0C6E-423D-9FA8

I think I have a regular black double trigger guard somewhere if you need one

There's also this trigger guard that I've never seen before.

Tippmann model 98 paintball gun. This was probably manufactured in 2002 and has been in storage since about 2008. I found it when i moved. It has a bunch of go fast stuff on it, that was a real big deal "back in the day" Has a bunch of extras that will come with it if any of it is still good. The C02 tank predates the war on terror, so there will be no refilling that.
