Sheridan/PMI PGP tool

i traded for a pgp and it leaks upon puncturing the 12ie dumping the gas out. looking around i see palmers has a tool for the marker to get in there, but i know the shop has slowed down production.

Before i gamble on purchasing from the website in case they are out of stock, was hoping for a current link to a tool that will for sure work for the marker... maybe even a full rebuild kit..

You can also make one. If you have a grinder and a drill what you do is take a 3/8 drive adaptor, drill a hole in the center for the valve stem and then you need to shave down each side of the square just a little on the grinder. That's how I made mine. It doesn't look pretty but it gets the job done

Are you certain you even need a tool? The last couple generations of PGP use cartridge valves which don't require specialized tools to disassemble or remove.

well taking the hammer out, i see the slot for the square tool

what would i be looking for to determine if i dont need it

I used a 1/2'' grade 5 bolt, Drilled the center of it out for the valve stem, and ground the sides down on a bench sander to a square that fit.
