Plating/Anodizing: Power supply question for those who know

Recently, my SO asked me for a bench power supply for Christmas. Reason; she's into crafting and wants one for jewelry plating/hobby electronics. I've also been curious about home anodizing/plating (for, you know, reasons) and would like to get us a power supply that would work for both jewelry endeavors and the occasional paintball project. Can anyone here who has done anno/plating recommend a reliable model that would handle both sets of needs? We don't have a great deal of extra cash, so I'd like to get her something that would work for both of us without breaking my bank.

And before anyone asks, yes...she knows I'm shopping for both of us and is cool with that. She supports my hobbies, I support hers. It's a big reason why we are together.

This is the one I have for anodizing. I chose it due to low cost and high number of amps it can provide, it has the juice to ano 3 cocker body kits at once at 6.5a/sqft. Down sides are that it trips gfci outlets and fine control of the power is difficult.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O8DJ8QC this is the one I started with and it has much finer control which I imagine would come in handy for plating but idk. It can do 1 cocker body kit at 6a/sqft. It worked well until it started blowing fuses.

If you decide to get into trying to plate anything paintball/aluminum related, check out this vid: https://youtu.be/Qh1zxX_yqzg?feature=shared

I tried a project years ago and this 10 minutes of video could have saved me a lot of time.
