I need some new gloves, what should I get?

    I like full finger gloves
The eclipse distortion gloves in Large have served me well for a long time. But I can't find them anymore. They stopped production years ago.
Prior to that I used WDP gloves, which were the best I have had.

Help me find something good to use that keeps my paws fresh as I crawl around and grip stuff.

Mechanix "original" gloves are cool. But I've been rocking these mainly: https://g1paintball.com/products/g1-...o-on-the-front

Exalt death grip. I've had a pair of these for around 5 years now. Not a stitch has come loose. I got a second pair just so at our big games I can have a dry pair for the second day. They make them in full finger and 2 finger style, and a black bone version and the white one here

Word of warning, there's lots of imitation versions by other companies. I've tried them on, the grips they use on the inside of the glove are all worse and the imitation ones have the bones printed on the back. The exalt ones they are basically padded rubber on the back of your hand, it really takes the sting out of a hand shot. Best gloves I've ever found by a long shot

I have the same pair in black. They were purchased second hand and have had hours in them. Great bang for the buck.

Any Machanix knockoff gloves I find at a big box retailer in brown, green or grey. I like full finger gloves myself and find they work just as well as higher priced ones and I just use them til I get holes in the finger tips then I just replace them. My current ones I got from Tractor Supply and bought them before COVID and still using them.

Milwaukee nitrile palm A5 cut gloves are pretty awesome if you don't need much knuckle padding. I do a lot of mechanics- style gloves at work, and these are the best blend of dexterity and durability.

I didn't wear gloves for the first 15 years playing. But, I started buying my guys these MaxiFlex 34-8743 for work, we are an industrial electrical contractor.

I have found that they are perfect for playing. They fit nice and snug so you retain a high level of dexterity, they are durable, washable and relatively inexpensive per pair.

If you want to try a pair on before you buy, I would find an industrial supply store near you. Something like a Granger, HD Supply or similar.

the maxiflex are definitely nice but ive been buying the "grease monkey" walmart brand and they are 1/3 of the price and have been lasting me and my guys just as long

look into weight lifting and cyclist gloves too. a lot of them have nice, wide straps that fold over the back of your hand and wrist that act as very effective padding. most of the time cheaper than paintball specific gloves, and better made.
