    Bonebreak Angel info

A Bonebrake Angel and a SP shocker just popped up for sale locally. I know nothing of angels. What’s the deal with Bonebreak Angels?

I dont know about their angels, but Ive seen bone break cockers. I think its just another PL manufacturer who made their own milling.

That OD flex is probably worth the grab itself. Thats the part Id want if I went after the kit.

      It's Bonebrake, not break.

Dan Bonebrake was an airsmith who did a bunch of mods to Angels. If you Google "bonebrake angel led" you'll find a Warpig article on them.

If it actually is a Bonebrake LED and doesn't just have a sticker on it, it might be worth more than a normal LED to a collector, but I think $200ish is probably the max.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

I honestly can't see it well enough to determine if it's actually a Bonebrake, or if it merely has the sticker on it.

I figure, based on the pic, that the tanks are best left in sellers trash can. Aside from that, an interesting package if cheap enough.

That unique pack is worth a bit to.

Both those thin frame JT are worth a decent amount. That proshield has thin frames if the foam is good they can bring a decent amount as well.

Most of the value is the masks and that pack I would bet. Shocker will probably bring around $200 if it’s all in working condition. Probably $500 easy in value there.

Right now it’s too pricy but was just posted. I’ll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

just heard back from the guy and he sent it to Bonebrake for the upgrades. Everything had been sitting for years but worked great last time he used them (likely 10+ years ago).

I can chime in a little bit. There's about a 50/50 chance I did the Bonebrake work to that angel. Dan did no work himself, and it was me and one other guy who did all of the angel mod work back in the day. The list provided by Roger7pball is accurate for most of the led angels we did, but not for the earlier ones. The LED was the most heavily modified of all the angels we did. It was the result of tinkering I did with one of the first angels in the US. Dan joined Avalanche as the first WDP sponsored team and the Bonebrake mods started when he put his angel on my bench and asked me to make it better (I was the manager of his proshop back in 97 and the airsmith who did all his gun work at the time). This was one of the first angels in the country, so it was a very fun project!

To dispel the concern about the gun having just stickers, we were militantly stingy with them back in the day. The stickers did not leave the shop unless one of us put them on the guns with our own hands. Dan gave some to a guy a few years ago, so now there is a possibility that a few guns just have stickers. I still have stickers....

I'm happy to answer any other questions you might have about Bonebrake angels or other stuff.

I think that Skul mask is collectible, not sure about lens integrity though....

I love hearing the behind-the-scenes stuff, especially about the guys behind the frontman whose name went on the product.

Very cool, thanks for the info!

I've got a brain full of (fading) memories about angels, cockers, bushmasters, and everything else. I like it too, getting the inside scoop from any company was one of my favorite things about hanging with vendors back in the good ol' days.
