NSG Splatmaster body screw size

Anyone know the size of the NSG Splatmaster body screws? Looking to do a full restoration of mine. They looked to be M3 but my M3 bolts wouldn't thread in so i'm guessing its something in Imperial units.

I think they are 4 40 screws. I'm faily sure that is what I have been using.
