B2K valve ID

Just pulled the valve with one oring out of my b2k4. The other came with the maker in a box of random bits.

Can anyone ID them, and is there a recommendation of one over the other? I imagine two seals is better than one 😏

I think they are both stock valves. I'd swear I've pulled both styles out of bushmasters of different years. IIRC ICD started manufacturing overseas around 2k4 and quality took a bit of a hit(other than the new grip frame). It would make sense to cut out a step and a part to cheapen production.

Both valves are stock. The single "o" ring is older then the dual "o" ring, and far less common. I've used both styles extensively and have never noticed a significant difference between them from a performance perspective....I don't think the second "o" ring does much.

B2Ks did suffer a hit in the quality of the machining once they went overseas, but it was no where near as blatant as deleting an entire "o" ring.

It's more the switch to Humphrey noids, the need to use 90 durometer on the solenoid manifolds, and the stupid "o" rings as detents that killed them. Overall machining is still solid, even though it's definitely not as clean and you can see the machine lines on the gun bodies.
