Need help with some Sheridan K Series Rifle

Picked up some kind of Sheridan K Series Rifle in a lot of old paintball stuff from craigslist. Was covered in tape, inside was fairly rusted, and it looks like a previous owner home-brewed a hopper attachment by grinding open the feed tube and barrel.

I wanted to seek the wisdom of MCB before I made any serious attempts at anything. I really want to get it in working order first and foremost. Any advice on cleaning and replacement parts? And after that, is there any clever way of reverting the hastily made hopper mod back to the original tube feed?

kp2. Palmers still sells rebuild kits for it. elbow grease, nylon brushes, hot water and soap. u may want to strip it too, depends how far u wanna go. maybe solder a piece of brass tubing/patch piece to fix feed tube. ive got a kp2 that needs patches/plugs too, haven't figured a good way to fix yet. might get some brass tubing and make some repair 'plugs'

Ahh the brass tubing plug idea sounds promising. Thanks for the advice I think I'll try it out.

Cleaned off most of the tape and redid the stock. Got rid of most rust and put it all back together to see what would happen. All of the CO2 leaked from the front of the valve, so tried taking it fully apart to replace the seal. The front half of the valve (Valve plug and the sleeves) won't budge. Tried punching it out with some taps of a mallet and tried fishing it out with a metal pick. No luck. Any advice on how to get these stubborn little parts out?

I generally use spent 12 grams stacked up in the tube and a hammer to get things moving. Once the parts break loose they tend fall out the back end with just some vigorous shaking. You might need to find a long dowel or tube to press them a little farther than the neck of a 12 gram will reach though.

The stack of 12 grams was what I tried initially with the mallet. I'll see if I can find a nice dowel or tube and either which way just push a little harder.

Replaced all the seals, removed the black from the brass, and put in a spring feed kit from Palmer's. Took WORR13's advice and made a patch for the hole using a few sections from a slightly larger brass tube. I'm happy with how it came out for a first time project in brass, and thanks to everyone who replied to this post!
