    JT ProFlex X Mask Opinions

So other then my old school Vents Predators/Rage masks JT ProFlex were my go to but I hated changing lenses and most likely changed them later then I should have. When Empire came out with the E-Flex I tried them out an liked them overall especially lens changes but now I see the JT ProFlex X masks and I am curious. My E-Flex ar getting to the age the plastic is starting to degrade so in the market for new Mask.

Who here uses the JT ProFlex masks and what do you think? I will admit I'm having a little difficulty with how the google frame looks it looks chunky.

Personally I hate the look of the X, no matter much easier the lens change is. Others also have noted how uncomfortable they are. And ugly. Just plain ugly.

I've been trying to convince myself that I can overlook the goggle frame, it is a hard task but I am a function over form person mostly.

I have a pair of them, they're not bad by any means. The thick frames look a little funky especially when compared to the genuine proflex. I love the ease of changing the lens for sure. But I have to be one of the cool kids so I always wear my Proflex. I was going to put both proflex x & eflex up for sale shortly if you want to try one on the cheap let me know. Each one might have been worn it half a dozen times at best.

I have a couple proflex x, original style proflex and a Dye i5. The proflex x is my favorite. They are decently comfortable and the lens change is so much better. The original has me swearing like a sailor trying to push the little tabs in their holes. I have to wear surgical gloves otherwise i will mark up the lens with my fingerprints. Even the Dye mask can be difficult. Proflex x for the win! Especially if I bring guests with me, i want something easy to clean when I'm cleaning four sets of gear.

The skirt on the proflex x is a bit long and will bump into my tank when i bring the marker up to shoot. I remedy this by trimming the bottom 3/4 of an inch off. I use a utility knife and cut it so cleanly that it looks like it could be factory.

Most uncomfortable modern mask I’ve ever owned. 0% compatible with other JT masks

Og proflex thin frames is the gold standard. I don’t have any issues installing lenses. But I practiced to the point of numb fingers. For example, I typically remove the lens for cleaning after every other play day, if not after every play day.

Pony up and do your research to find a good deal if you desire. I despise for profit mask flippers almost as much as I despise marker flippers who scam widows.

I hear the empire EVS is legit, but I haven’t used them.
I hear Carbn goggles are legit as well.

I rank DYE i5 as 3rd place, lens changes are instant and easy with a pinch. But it’s a small mask, doesn’t cover and doesn’t breath or hear as well as proflex.

The proflex X, basically doesn’t even exist to me.

I started with the Proflex many years ago, lens removal could be a pain.

            I've used Dye I3/I4/I5s and V-Force Grills.

I have a set of Proflex-X now, and they are just as comfortable as the original Proflex. It is easier for an old guy to change the lenses.
They breathe well, and I can wear my glasses with them. However, they are not OG and that means they are junk (pffffttttt)

I also have a set of Push Unite..... I'll see what they are like when spring/summer roll around.

The other options are the Virtue VIO and the Empire EVS....

I don't really care how pretty/cute/cool the masks make me look (and never have), as long as I can see, breathe, and they provide protection.
