Kingman Hammer 2 rear asa adapter

Hello there, I recently acquired an og hammer 2 and I wanted to see if someone could help me source the rear asa adapter for it, as the one’s I’ve seen have the threading for the screw too close to the base. It’s sterling based. Any help is appreciated.

That's going to be hard to find, Hammer 2's don't come up often.

What's the issue? Might be easier to repair or make something that go oem

You think so? I could probably get a sterling rear asa adapter and tap the hole myself at the right distance. Right now it’s just stuck to a tank regulator but I think I might have messed up the threads or when I go to pry it off, it won’t work anymore.

I have a Hammer one, looks too different to work. I might have a spare Sterling one in the parts bin

Never had a moment to look at the photo your best bet might actually be the machine the regulator off and save the asa.

I seriously think there's only maybe 10 of these known in about the collecting circuit. I know of one that was highly modified and still sold for a lot. And there's one that I put a bunch of custom work into a few years ago for somebody but I have never seen that again. Plus the one that I had that's OEM and my collection.

I would just assume that the tank reg is a total loss

Yeah, I’m gonna use a vice grip to wrench it off but I think the threading won’t work after. I guess I could figure out how to repair it or put new threads on, maybe have someone slice it and weld the threaded side back on

Chances are the tank threads gauled
      Working...
