Sealing the Valve Hole in a Spyder

Dusting off a previous project that stalled. I’ll tossed a Spyder VS2 valve into a Raven body. What is the best way to seal the holes for the valve retention pin?

Drill and tap it best bet from both sides use short set screws and locktite
