    Help reg ID and selection

    Hello y'all,

Got a few regs, and I know some, but not all of them.
I need some help ID the 2 on the left.

    From left to right:
    - unknown
    - unknown
    - Air America Violator - don't know anything about them
    - Evil (not PE) Detonator - don't know anything about them
    - Charger - I believe those are the same as the automat, but with a different top?

Anything special about any of them?
Looking at possibly putting one on a Rainmaker or semi ...
Also got an ergo or a Stab i can use, but the Stab seam a bit overkill for a HPA only gun?

Evil Detonator, not PE. Good regs, tough to find the reg seats - I've used WGP Ergo reg seats before and there's someone out there cutting new ones. Maybe on Facebook?
And God turned to Gabriel and said: β€œI shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

β€œBut Lord,” asked Gabriel, β€œIs this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, β€œJust wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Thanks, I'll correct the top post

Left one looks like a Centerflag, like I have on my Sentinel. Good reg, but who knows if it's rebuildable. They usually have pressure range engraved on them somewhere.

Second one makes me think System X or Dragun.

DocFire is making seats for Ergos. Might be worth mic'ing the seat and checking if he has one that fits.

Centerflag sounds vaguely familiar, but there is absolutely no markings on this little guy πŸ™„

I'd assume 0-800 then. The marked ones seem to be from when low pressure ranges became more important. I'm 98% sure it's Centerflag though.

The centerflag looks pretty good on there, what all think?

The first 2 regs look pretty neat

Didn't that one have an ergo reg on it?

The ergo or the stab would be the best performers out of all of those. I remember a lot of people loving the evil detonators back in the day, but I never had good luck with them.

From memory this RM had the detonator when I got it

The 2nd reg is 100% an AIM regulator

I call it the Charlie Brown - great reg, copy of bob long regs iirc

I am someone who never had luck with detonator regs as a kid, but I've now got 3 laying around. They have grown on me. I am using one on my laz valve trilogy, and it works really well. They suck to adjust, but once set they seem to work awesome. I would put the detonator on there.. that is assuming 0-300 psi is an applicable pressure for a rainmaker.

There are seats available for them these days. It's worth putting on something.

These are often damaged from misuse of the Detonator regulator, or simply deteriorated from age and exposure to moisture. When decreasing the pressure on the Detonator, it's important to dry fire a few times (or shoot a few balls over the chrono) as you do so. If you do not, you risk digging the piston into the regulat

I think the problem with the detonaters is the adjuster it's to easy to over or under adjust you have to move that collar micro amounts sometimes and then half the time your wondering if it's even adjusting anything cause it's so easy to turn, I had to shoot mine a lot during adjustment to get it right but I quickly got rid of it so idk how good they really are but it worked like it should the little bit I used it
