Need help Identifying and finding rebuild parts

    Hello everybody!

I’ve got myself a KAPP Reflex? HPR regulator coming to me on a sweet 2k1 KAPP Autococker.

Does anybody know the name of this specific regulator and what it needs to be rebuilt? I’ve got a video rebuilding from Tim Firpo on the KAPP LPR, but not on the HPR.

I plan on having DocFire go over the marker at Supergame 25’.

    Kapp classic not a reflex.

That is a wgp black magic hpr, similar to the ergo reg

Awesome. If I’m correct the black magic hpr is one of the best. Leading me to believe this thing will be super low pressure.

Most wgp regs are the same

Daltech the reg itself has very little, if anything to do with allowing a marker to run low pressure. In an autococker that lies solely in how it’s setup (springing, upgraded, etc)… however they are a fairly reliable regulator

you may want to reach out to docfire to see if he will be attending this year. I know he has been busy as of late.

this is the same regulator internally.

Daltech I PM you. I will not be attending SG OR 2025 this year (surgery conflict). But the Autococker.com booth will be there. I am accepting mail in work as usual..

Those regs are simple but hard to pop open. Undo the snap ring on the bottom to get the set screw out, then use a pair of 1/2Npsm conduit nuts to grip the top and crack it open. Last seat I bought was from ACP in their kit, and worked well. Normal orings are good or switch to urethane (theoringstore.com) If you prefer CO2. 70 duro is fine. Docfire might have seats too - he mentioned them when i called him about his pistons.

I have a bunch of kapp parts pm me if you need any parts.

2 tips on kapps. A good one that gets over looked and really goes for any Schrader style LPR and HPR is - test the Schrader valve. This is easy to do.

Remove the pressure adjuster cap, spring and piston from the LPR. Air up the marker. Zero air should be coming from the schrader. Take an Allen key and press on the pin, check the flow. Many of these LPRs have leaking valves. Careful not to bend the pin.

The chrome kapp 3-ways with exterior milling needed a slightly thicker orings.

I’m gonna be hitting you up. I think I’ve got a bad ram, I played Saturday and it made it to lunch then started sticking in the back position. It could just need some oil, it sat for 20 years. Lol. Shoots arrows straight off of the shelf. It was epic. Also my hopper batteries went low and I started chopping. But the morning games before lunch the marker was flawless.
