My first paintball gun from 1990 was a semi-auto with parts similar to a 68 special in sheer brute nature.
I was almost certain it was called a Skorpion or Scorpion and may have originated in Australia or New Zealand.
It had a built in carry handle, The barrel and breach were one piece and made of brass. The barrel assembly was held in place by one screw which passed through the bottom of the receiver like a Ruger 10/22 rifle.
My google-fu is weak tonight and I can't find reference of it anywhere.
