Battery pack / lipo to replace 6 x AAA batteries for Halo V35?

I just ordered the new halo pro shell kit to put my V35 internals in but realized it only supports 4 x AAA, and the V35 uses 6. Is there a rechargeable battery pack or battery combination I could use in place of the 6xAAA that fits within the size of 4xAAA? I'd be okay with sacrificing longevity if I can maintain the feed speed. Thanks

Edit: Thinking about it, it would probably be easier to just have a deeper battery cover 3D printed to allow for more room.

Just use 2 9v batteries. Way better and easier

Any way you swing it, 2x9v are the worst choice.. it may work, but not for long.

I have one. There are plastic screw stands underneath the battery tray. You should be able to grind those down to fit a 6 pack. I'm actually doing it tomorrow and can report back. But, you cannot just print a new battery tray/compartment to fit the larger pack. The batteries cannot be accessed externally like other halo shells. It's internal under the ramp, similar to new hoppers.

Do you think 2 9v's can fit within that space without modification, or at least minimal mods? I've got the Halo of Theseus w/eye and am looking for an upgrade from the ANS "suicide" style shell.

2 9v should fit. I'll confirm today for you though

    1.5v x 6 = 9v

Standard 9v is perfect voltage wise

    Lithium is native 3.6v
So stacking 2 together you get 7.4 volts. Probably fine since most standard batteries drop voltage as they get lower. Lithium has a much flatter voltage drop as they drain

3 stacks gives you 10.8v over volt but probably still in the range of acceptable.

I use an 11.1v 3300mah drone lipo battery I got off amazon… it’s smaller than 4AA’s but larger than a single 9v… if I really wanted to I could probably go with a smaller voltage and jam another battery in there to get the MAH up… Amazon makes it super easy because they list the dimensions of the battery so you can compare… or take it to a RC shop and have them build you a power cell to fit the space.

You need to have a cutoff module to make sure your lipo cell voltage will not go lower than 3.2v per cell to avoid damage to the battery or worst
