ICD Desert Fox - vasa options, air routing

Ok first --- I also love the 8020 grip and it might have to stay. For sake of discussion though, suppose I routed air this way....
    • Bottom ASA > regulator > exit vasa down side of marker into gauge port as a feed point (block the backbottle port)

Here's where I'm scratching my head:
    1. Wondering if there's any clever way to mount a VASA and retain this same angle, without a custom machined part? I think it would look SUPER clean with an RTP VASA but I don't see it happening.
    • Green line area already has 2 threads tapped for the ICD ASA. Interestingly, aligns with AGD RTP VASA but i see no practical way to screw it down.
    • Green line area has lots of meat. Tapping for mounting purposes possible
    • "back side" of green area has too much stuff going on inside frame to drill passthrough holes to mount ASA from back.
    2. This is pretty marker-specific, but anyone know why I could NOT feed air into that gauge port? (I'll measure PSI upstream)

Pretty sure the gauge port is after the regulator. Theoretically you could feed regulated air in there, but I'd defer to one of the 'Fox experts on that one before trying it. It's been about 20 years since I had one of those in the shop.

I feel like most people are gutting the fox reg, and feeding hpr air into them for better results. I've only seen foxes in passing, but I feel that's the way to go.
