98 STO pneumatics colors?

Hey guys,

I know some of the original STOs came with blue or red pneumatics. Guessing these were only seen on 98s but maybe I'm wrong?

Were those the only two colors they were available in?

Were only the pneumatics matching? I seem to recall seeing one with a matching trigger shoe but could have been added after.

If you have one of these STOs please post a pic or two

I bought one of Meteor's STO tributes and plan on anodizing only the pneumatics blue. But if I have more color options besides red or blue, id love to know! Plus I want to make sure I don't need to anodize any other parts with the pneumatics.

Red and blue were factory options.

Though most sold as red

I wondered why I remembered seeing 5 red for every 1 blue. Thanks for confirming my memory. I swore I was right but then I thought I remembered seeing one with green pneus. Then I asked myself if I had seen another with purple. At that point in knew I had to ask you guys 😂 My memories must have been cross contaminated with seeing old STO pneumatics on eBay.

Not sure about the differences between 98 and 2K pneumatics, but this store has some new old stock red 3 way STO valves for reference.

I have red. I have also had purple and a green, but don’t know if those were factory.

Wgp made purple, green and nickel and sold them as after market parts. Those weren't offered for STOs though.
