Best tricks for a stock KP2 with small paint?

What's your favorite trick to keep rollouts from happening in your KP2 (besides wedgits). Fingernail polish? Fishing line? Just keep it angled back a tad until ready to fire?

It's unibody so really just keep the gun pointed up.

    Past that wedgits help.

Send it to JeeperCreeper πŸ˜‰ to freak for you.

Otherwise, nailpolish detents and keep the tip up a bit. (And hope you don’t have to shoot downhill)

I usually either do a Freak barrel conversion, and or detents. Hit me up if youre interested.

I found even angling the my back only helped with roll outs and didn't help with the larger problem. That problem was paint size (tiny) to barrel size (Huge). With paint inconsistency I would go from 280FPS to maybe 100 fps depending on the size of the ball. Unfortunately it made the gun utterly useless and annoying.

My solution was to have JeeperCreeper tear the gun down and rebarrel it for Freak XL. I saw detents a only a band aid to the problem. Not a solution. I also know this isn't a solution for everyone but it was for me.

              I never get roll-outs.
The solution is simple in theory and requires nothing more than a bit of practice.

The problem: ball rolls out of the barrel.
The fix: don't keep a ball in the barrel until you shoot.

I don't shoot then pump and go running around. That's when the ball rolls out.
I shoot then scoot. Reloading becomes part of the aiming process; the paint never has enough time in the beech to roll out.

I appreciate that, but the gun is bone stock and in pretty good shape for a survivor. I don't want to do anything on it that would be permanent.

Well, youre basically stuck with nail polish detents then. Its the only reversible solution.
