Chrome Stripping

I have a chrome autococker frame that I'd like stripped. I've reached out to a couple local places and they don't do small single items. Anyone have any suggestions for someone I can ship it off to?

Not many places want to deal with the process and in most cases the cost to do it is the same cost as buying another part with paintball pieces.

I was quoted at like 400 to replate an F/X sto cocker I ended up passing on it

It's an AKA hinge frame, so not easily replaced...

Don't forget the wildcard of stripping the chromed frame could ruin the tolerances

I know a place that will do it pretty reasonably and can relate it with automotive grade chroming... Shoot me a message and I'll get you their info

Make sure you are positive of the plating.. I don’t believe AKA ever did any chrome, nickel is all they did. Do you have pictures?

also any place that offer nickel plating will also have the capability to strip it. I’ve used Arnold’s Metal finishing in the past for stripping
