    Nelspot 007

Picked up this Nelspot, Seems to have FSG 45 engraved on frame, I would assume that it was a rental marker at some point, Anyone recognize what the Field was? ____ Survival Game? picked up In Edmonton, Canada if that helps.

There's a bunch being dumped on eBay right now that seemingly came from a formal rental site... Not sure who's the field.

Took it apart, soaked and stripped all the upper parts, then heat blue'd them and reassembled. I like the new look, No more rust.

Looks great, I like the blue look, is it very difficult to do?

Cal440 The paint used on mine literally stripped off with the vinegar and steel wool I used to remove the rust, Hardest part was degreasing them well before heating, dirt and grease cause finish blemish's. I ended up using 99% ISO alcohol in a freezer bag, then hanging them without touching the metal. heated the metal with a Map gas torch to as even dark colour as I could, then dunked them into Motor Oil. for my first attempt at bluing a body, Im happy with it.
