    98 Custom feed question

Could a Mastersconi elbow be put on a PTP power feed? Would it be functional and secure? I know the MS elbow adds a lean so I’m having a tough time picturing what it would look like on a power feed.

That was a concern for me. Thank you for pointing that out. I think I’ll get a center feed. I didn’t want to alter the shells but I think it’ll be ok. Not that I don’t mind the work but just the possibility of not liking it. I haven’t heard any complaints or anything about the ones the guys on Facebook are making, have you? They look pretty sturdy.

Look for a lapco feedneck. It'll stay right side, and work with the sconi elbow better.

I'll stack both configurations up tonight and take pics. ( I have some 98s hoarded )

I run a Sconi on my Micromag. It keeps the hopper more center.

Here ya go sir. I don't have an official lapco, it's a lapco knock off.

Definitely look for the 98 Lapco direct feeds if you want to use a sconi. I really like my sconi leans, BUT I absolutely hate them on power feeds, it's just to damn many weird angles at that point. I find them comfortable and perfect on direct right feeds though.
