    Autococker safety questions

A while back I grabbed a new safety button for my ans gx-5. I bought a hinge frame one from autocockerparts and found the diameter is different. Figgured oh well I will just turnoff the air, and it is probably odd because some other parts on the ans stuff is odd

Now I have started a new project for the wife and hot a slide frame, not having a safety is not an option for her. I figgured that the diameter would be the same because the pictures on autocockerparts don't show a diameter, only a type.

My question is are the diameters supposed to be different? Should I just order 2 slide frame safety buttons?

ANS hinge safety is way smaller than Wgp hinge safety. I’m not sure how cross compatible all slider safeties are. That being said the ans hinge frame safety is about the same diameter as a slider safety but they don’t appear to be the same as far as I can tell. The ans hinge frame has a shoulder on one side of the safety that stops it from passing all the way through the frame. Slider frames usually use a c clip. I’m not sure if they are the same length or even cut the same for the safety detent

Learning the parts compatability is sometimes a pain on autocockers. I have included some pictures of the frame that needs the safety along withe the hinge safety. Are you fairly sure that the standard slide frame one will work?
