    Compressor for home fills

Anybody have a compressor for home fills they recommend? Just looking to fill a 13/3k a few times a week since my dive shop is closed from covid

I have a Shoebox I'm quite happy with, but I've been told they've stopped making them, thanks to the Chinese flooding the market.

If all you're filling is a 13/3k once in a while, you could always get a hand pump. I have one myself and it works fine for smaller tanks. Filling anything larger than a 13/3k sucks though.

Get one of those hand pumps all the Air rifle dealers sell them. Get the name brand one if you want one to last.

Does anybody have some insight on small air compressors with a booster

Get the biggest one you can that will fill my 4500 tanks. It benefits you to have me be able to be your fire power as you snipe. Just sayin.

Your young gun likes to snipe too. Gotta get him outfitted.

apparently this air Venturi compressor works well and can fill up to 4500 psi in “minutes”. There are other electric compressors too

$750 beans not bad on price.

Interesting. I’ve heard good things about the shoebox, but they’re pretty hard to find now. I had been checking out this chestnut https://www.amazon.com/GX-Compressor.../dp/B0819ZH85H because of its mobile fill ability.

After some late night mad science, I’ve got my Sar12c running on regulated 12grams now, so maybe I’ll look more closely at the hand pumps. Can get a lot of 12 grams for the cost of some of these compressors.

A used Yong Heng will cost you around 250.

If I recall correctly I saw new Yong Heng 220V 4500 psi compressors for around 450. What I saw said you could set the pressure (3000 or 4500) and they were auto shut off. If the hold up I could use one for scuba tanks and the occasional 4500 tanks. Does anyone have experience with them if the shoebox is not available?

There is a Shoebox compressor on Ebay right now with free shipping.

I've got a Benjamin 3k pump for my 13ci. It doesn't take very long to fill it, maybe up to 15 min? I usually am watching tv or something while I do it.

Don't forget to get filters. I don't think paintball tanks have to worry that much about air moisture, but it seems beneficial to me to dry out the air as much as you can.

The problem with getting a compressor to fill my paintball tanks- for me, at least- is that I will need an airgun to have on hand to take advantage of the cheap propellant. 😀

I'm really liking the Air Venturi model. This also leads to another question: what are the intelligentsia's recommendations for storage/fill tanks?

Funny you mentioned that. Once I got my hand pump, PCP rifles started to look really appealing.
